"An impending sense of doom led me to find and join Guildford Speakers Club. I had been asked to be Best Man for a mate's wedding and of course said 'yes'. Only after putting the phone down did I consider the prospect of the Best Man's speech: much anticipated by the audience, much feared by the Best Man. Right away I found the environment at the club supportive, creative and fun. I've now been going fairly regularly for three months now and have learnt alot.
